Prof. Vaman B. Gudi is a distinguished academic administrator and examination
professional with over three decades of experience in technical education,
university administration, and academic process management.
Currently serving as the Controller of Examinations at Rajeev Institute of
Technology, Hassan, Prof. Gudi has held several prestigious leadership positions
throughout his career, including serving as Special Officer (Academic and DPAR)
at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
He has played a significant role in shaping examination systems and academic
governance frameworks across multiple institutions, and has served as the founding
Controller of Examinations for reputed engineering institutions including MVJ College
of Engineering, St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore, and Cambridge Institute
of Technology — helping establish robust and scalable examination operations from
the ground up.
With strong expertise in VLSI Design, Digital Electronics, and academic governance,
Prof. Gudi has contributed towards curriculum modernization initiatives aligned with
NEP 2020 standards and has actively participated in multiple university-level
academic and administrative committees recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
Contribution to DES
Prof. Gudi's valuable domain expertise, operational insights, and deep understanding
of university examination systems have significantly contributed towards strengthening
the functional workflows, evaluation processes, transparency mechanisms, and
operational architecture of the DES platform.
